Humble Hearts Dwell In The Lord

THE LOVE NOTE

My child, I do not desire rites, rules, rituals and religious ceremonies in order for you to abide in Me. What I desire is intimacy between you and Me. Honesty, authenticity and a humble heart who unburdens himself/herself to Me so that I may love, heal and restore you. I do not require sacrifices or ceremonies, what I require is an honest and humble heart who is not afraid to simply be with Me and to allow Me to hold, heal and comfort you. Humble hearts dwell in the Lord. Unburden your worries and cares to Me so I may restore you in the love and peace I have for you. 

SCRIPTURE TO REFLECT ON

For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. (Hosea 6:6)

For thus says the High and Lofty One

Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:

“I dwell in the high and holy place,

With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,

To revive the spirit of the humble,

And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (Isaiah 57:15)

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4) 

Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11)
