Enter A Time Of Rest With God

THE LOVE NOTE

There is a season to be productive but there is also a season to rest. Too many of My children obsess about the doing, ticking lists, getting things “done” and forget that true growth, true creation also takes place in the rest and receiving. Allow yourself to rest, to sleep, to take care of yourself and know that thy will be done in times and ways that far exceed your human understanding. Rest in Me, abide in Me and I will order your steps and one step I will guide you to take is to also REST & RECEIVE and to let go of the guilt and shame in doing so. I love you. All is well.

SCRIPTURE TO REFLECT ON

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. (Psalm 62:1)

For anyone who enters God's rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. (Hebrews 4:10)

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)

When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. (John 10:4)

There is a time for everything,
    and a season for every activity under the heavens:

    a time to be born and a time to die,
    a time to plant and a time to uproot,

    a time to kill and a time to heal,
    a time to tear down and a time to build,

    a time to weep and a time to laugh,
    a time to mourn and a time to dance,

    a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
    a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

    a time to search and a time to give up,
    a time to keep and a time to throw away,

    a time to tear and a time to mend,
    a time to be silent and a time to speak

a time to love and a time to hate,
    a time for war and a time for peace.
